Gospel band Covenant Creed will be hosting its second Back to School Jam tonight, at the Sir John Guise Indoor complex, in Port Moresby.
Covenant creed is a band that started in the 80s. But over time, it has changed with the style of music, taking on board younger members.
With music being a big part of youth this day, Covenant Creed hopes to use their platform to positively impact this population.
The back to school concert is one project, meant to reach out to young people preparing for another academic year.
School for most have started, but it’s never too late.
This concert, according to band leader, Pr Anthony Ando, will speak positively into the lives of the young people present.
The first concert last year, was a success.
Pr Ando said the band hopes to make this an annual event.
The concert tonight starts at 6pm and runs through to 9pm.
Tickets were selling for K5.
The event tonight will also see the launch of the bands album Possibilities.
