We are currently sourcing for an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to join our team in PNG. The successful candidate will be provide a planning and scheduling focal point for the EMPNG maintenance contract and is responsible for the provision of all aspects of the scheduling function to the EMPNG maintenance team and customers.

 This position is a rotational on a 28/28 day roster with a B2B support position.

 At this time, we will only consider applications from PNG Citizens.


  • Provides all aspects of planning and scheduling support to the planning team ensuring that cost control systems, procedures and work practices are maintained
  • Supports the implementation of maintenance schedule management programmes that provide an accurate reflection of work performance at a project and programme level
  • Preparation of services schedule and manpower distributions for Work Site activities
  • Produce and issue updates to plans and schedules (fully logic linked with a critical path) to enable performance analysis to be carried out
  • Assess impact of interface milestones on site plans and share relevant milestone data.
  • Represent the maintenance planning and scheduling control function as required in internal reviews and in schedule status meetings.
  • Provide reports of plans and schedules in accordance with site requirements


  • At least 8 years’ experience in a Planner role
  • Good experience in Primavera and MS Project.
  • Significant experience working in Maintenance and shutdown environments
  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with the client to understand requirements and with other team members to ensure effective implementation of scheduling requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ideally 5-8 years minimum experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
